Thank you for this great event! I truly appreciate the effort it takes to organize the Conference every year. I could only attend a few sessions for a while, so I can't wait to watch the recordings -- most likely over the weekend. The speakers were highly knowledgeable and I'm sure their tips and tricks will be very useful for many of us in the long run. Thanks again!
Excellent presentations and discussions! I had technical problems with Flash Player for one session only, for all other sessions it was okay, so the problem was not on my side. Hope you can check this in the near future.
- A very useful conference. It was my first experience with ProZ conferences and although I was unable to attend all of them the ones I saw prove my point. I hope you can repeat it more often. It was informative, encouraging and generous. Congratulations to the ProZ team. Thank you so much. Anita Di Marco, Brazil
Pavel, imagine the case where you have several short duplicate segments (maybe just one word), and they are translated subtly differently due to the different context

if you mark a segment as finished (or translated in DVX3), and then it gets overwritten when you translate another segment, you wouldn't be happy

Pavel: if you're in Proofreading mode, you can always force propagation by using Ctrl+Alt+Down Arrow

that forces DVX3 to overwrite when Propagating, which in Proofreading mode allows overwriting of Translated segments

Pavel, to a certain extent, that's why we changed Finished in DVX2 to Translated in DVX3, and added the Proofread and Accepted status flags

in that sense, you're right, since "Translated" doesn't have the same sense of "completion" as "FInished" did.
