Hi everyone,
Είμαι φοιτήτρια στο London Metropolitan University (MA Applied Translation) και προσπαθώ να βρώ Ελληνικά κείμενα με θέμα τον τουρισμό (3000 words), για μετάφραση. Εχώ ψάξει στο Ιντερνετ αλλά δεν βρήσκω τίποτα - μήπως ξέρει κανείς που θα μπορόυσα να βρω ενα τέτοιο κείμενο?

Δεν ξέρω αν ψάχνεις κάποιο συγκεκριμένο θέμα αλλά γενικά κείμενα θα βρεις στο www.gnto.gr, στο οποίο υπάρχουν και links για άλλες ιστοσελίδες διαφόρων φορέων.
Αν μπορούσες να γίνεις πιό συγκεκριμένη για το τί ακριβώς ψάχνεις ίσως μπορούσα να βοηθήσω περισσότερο.

Hi Ioanna,

I hope you don't mind if i write in English. I'm looking for a specialised text to translate (Greek to English) for one of my course projects. It has to contain fairly specialised terminology and formal language - it also has to be 3000 words long.
I can choose any specialisation (law/medicine/science/tourism/media etc) and i would like to choose tourism or media (i am a journalist). The problem is that I live in London and i don't have easy access to Greek books s... See more

I can choose any specialisation (law/medicine/science/tourism/media etc) and i would like to choose tourism or media (i am a journalist). The problem is that I live in London and i don't have easy access to Greek books so i'm having trouble finding a text to translate that is (a) long enough and (b) specialised/formal enough. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any websites that might contain reports or papers relating to tourism (for example, policy regarding tourism in Greece) that I could download and translate. Otherwise I might have to plan a trip to Thessaloniki....any excuse!
