Refugees and immigration Feb 1

Yes, thankfully the search for interpreters is on hype, despite AI apps due to refugees and immigration growing.

In the US (I suppose it's similar in the UK) job opportunities for medical interpreters, court interpreters, and social interpreters in many language pairs are on the high. I just hope the new government policies don't ruin this.

Great news Feb 12

I've become a membership of ProZ this year again, after some months away from it and I was really sad reading the comments about how AI and global financial situation is affecting our job and also noticed an increase in the requests for editing weather than translating.

This post about interpreters is a kind of relief.
