There is a wonderful documentary film about Swetlana Geier, "Die Frau mit den 5 Elefanten".

I saw it last month during Doclisboa (Lisbon International Film Festival) and was very touched. I do advise everybody, not only translators, to see it. A DVD is out now and there is a lot of information on the Internet.
